nero vison 4 previews sound but no video

I have a sony camera (hdd) wich makes mpg files, I would like to burn as a dvd but when I use Nero Vision 4 to burn them there is no video in the preview only sound. These files play perfectly in Windows Media Player and Nero Showtime 2. this is verry hard to add chapters when all you have to go by is audio.

the odd thing about this is the movie i am making is madeup of 22 small clips and each clip does not have a black screen it shows the a snapshot of whatever that movie clip start with.

once the dvd is exported to mpg or burned to dvd or vcd it plays fine in a dvd player or computer.

i had the issue in my nero 7 so i updated to nero 8 with all plugins and same issue.
