Is corsair 450W VX enough for this or should i go for 550VX or 520HX instead?
Cant decide >_>
I don't want to mess things up like fry my new psu if it can't take the card, and which one of this 2 is better, 520HX or 550VX?

the 4870 needs 2 6 pin connectors so the 550vx would be the better choice. the difference between those are the 520hx has modular cabling. the 550vx and 520hx will both work fine.

Ok thanks... I think i'll go with the 550W vx then..
EDIT: By the way, i've heard that dual/triple rails like HX might be trouble, is that true?

Not necessarily trouble but because there isnt only one 12V rail then more resistance is met.

No, some idiots will have you otherwise, but multi-rail and/or modular PSUs are VERY rarely problematic for that reason.

Hey, the shop was out of corsair 550W VX, so they'd sell me a Zalman ZM600-HP instead, is this good psu?
Doesn't cost much more tho..
17,5$ more
It has four rails for 42A total and modular cables, but i'm not familiar with the Manufacturer ^^

Zalman PSUs are good, but the 600-HP isn't as quiet as the Corsair units. If that's not an issue, it'll be fine for your uses.

Lol fair enough - no, the Zalman units are pretty solid and powerful.
