Hi all,

Just noticed some problems with my burner after I did the firmware update. All the usual software works the same - DVD Shrink, Decrypter, Nero, etc. - but I had to uninstall Veritas DLA to do the firmware update, and now after reinstalling it my system becomes unstable when using DLA to copy/read/write files on DVD+RW or CD+RW.

Two Questions:
1. Is there a history of instability with these firmware updates that anyone knows about? Did I just make my drive incompatible with some of the software out there now?
2. Is Veritas DLA even a good option to use on these drives, or is there something better out there? Does windows XP have a native DLA program?

Any help that anyone has would be greatly appreciated...
