Hi - Anyone here tried Mr. Slime? Nothing I do gets me through the flying handles. Any tricks or hints? thanks

can you explain a bit more about which bit/level you are stuck on?
i dont play mr.slim myslf but my 6yrs old son does, so maybe he has passed your stage. i can ask him but i dont know if he understand what you mean by 'flying handles' so a bit info would help.

Hi Mary,
I am really embarassed! I'm 47! LOL! My brother got me a DSLite so I can play games (mainly MarioKart) with my nieces in another state. But lately I have been addicted to Zelda! Then I picked up this Mr. Slime to play between Zelda. I just can't get to my laundry now! ha! I'm not sure what level I'm on, it doesn't say and the booklet doesn't indicate the different levels. The game I'm on is the purple square. And the handles are called "flying flowers". They look like little teardrops with wings at the top. You swing across on them and I can't seem to get to the end. I'll keep trying! Thank your son for checking for me! He is a very smart young man!! Denise

Hi Denise,
I asked my son about it and he havent come cross what you described, sorry.
I had a look at the game and after picking Load Game, theres 3 symbols to choose from, a 3-leaf-clover, a clog wheel and a purple square with circly lines inside. my son been playing the purple square symbol one, after picking that, on the next screen, theres an option under 'adventure' calls 'choose level' and i can only choose 'world 1, level 3' so i guess thats the level my son is on.
my son aint smart, hes spoiled, played far too much ds games, lol.

Hi, I looked again and I am in the purple square too. I think world 2 level 3 is where I'm at. Oh well, I just didn't think I have an issue with Slime. I have had no problem with the harder games. Thank you so much for your responses and making my first experience with Afterdawn a nice one! Have a good day. denise

nows it my time to ask a question, well.. its my sons really, hes having problem getting the 'item' menu to come down to the bottom screen. he done it before but now its just wont come down no matter what button combination pressed so he cant select the item he wants with the stylus.. hope question is clear. big thanks if you can help. mary.

Hi Mary, I think I can help you with this! On the bottom screen you will see a little yellow curly thing in the top right corner. Just tap on that and the row of items will drop down to select! Hope this helps him! Denise
