Hi, I have XP Home. Some time ago I made two shortcuts on my desktop to shutdown and restart. Not sure if this is related or not. Anyway, When I log off, instead of going to the log off screen it shuts down. Also when I click Restart either via the shortcut on the desktop or Start/Turn off Computer/Restart it shuts down and doesnt restart automatically. This also happens when a newly installed program wants to retart the comp to complete installation.
This only happens on my account (HP Owner). My daughters account works fine and logs off as normal.
Any help please?
