I've been converting my dvd's to avi and divx for while now. I've noticed that a television episode is usually about 175mb for a 24 minute show if you download it. I'm getting the same file size but my videos look grainy compared to ones downloaded from emule, it's the same with movies. I'm currently trying dr. divx with the divx 6.8 pro codec. Using "insane quality" on codec, 1000 kbps and 2 pass. What am I missing? Is there something better? Any feedback is appreciated.
