Hi i have recently brought a Toshiba Equium L20-264 from a friend and it is painfully slow (but also cheap). I have ordered some ram, but I'm having trouble finding a processor, all i seem to be able to find is the same 1.4ghz it already has. Can someone point me in the right direction please?

Not all laptops can have their processors upgraded much, if at all. That laptop has the Celeron M360. I would imagine you would have to stick to the M300 series, so perhaps an M390?

Thanks Sam so it's socket 479? And the M390 is this best avalabe for my laptop? Bummer! I was hoping to get somthing at least twice the power it has. :( Would it even be worth the upgrade?
