Ultimate Spiderman sound glitch

Alright, i bought this game a few years ago when it came out and the sound was just fine. soon i wanted to reinstall it since it was a good game, but now the sound glitches by repeating the same sound over and over again.

ex: At the beginning, when Peter says "This how it all began" it repeats that same line throughout the entire cutscene. then when i get to another, it does the same thing! any ideas at all?
