I'm trying to reformat a business laptop with an unknown BIOS password. The BIOS is apparently rom-based and resetting the CMOS battery doesn't reset the BIOS. When I try to access the BIOS, it says it's ROM based and passworded. What do I do? The laptop's an HP nx6325.

I looked at the service manual earlier and managed to pop out the CMOS battery. It's standard size, just like the ones that go in desktop computers.
