Hi,

I make Music DVD Compilations using VideoReDo, and I am having problems with the Pink Floyd Pulse DVD (and also with Morrissey Manchester and Queen Wembley). All DVD's are Original and in NTSC Format.

When I author the DVD, the DVD start to go in "Slow motion" and go out of sync completly. I do not know if there are any protection in these DVD's. They are the only DVD's with this problem.

With the Morrisey and Queen DVD, I re-encoded it with ConvertXtoDVD, and I got good results. But the Encode process degrade the picture.

Are there any program that I can use to solve this problem.

Let me know

I think this is more of a conversion issue than the DVD itself. ;)

How big is the DVD and what size is your target?? If you're doing a sizable compression then you're talking degradation in picture quality for sure.

Hi Greensman,

Thank you.

Initialy I tested with few clips, so there is no Compression at all.

Actually, ConvertXtoDVD did a descent job "fixing" (I dont know how) the Morrissey and Queen Mpegs (I create source Mpegs from the DVD's Ripped files).

I Mixed "good" Mpegs (Frampton) with Morrissey and Quen with good Results.

But with Pink Floyd's Pulse, the problem still remain. When I author the DVD the Pulse Image goes at half speed (I think), go completly out of sync.

Are there another program that Fix the Mpeg Files,

Thanks

Antonio

alts01 I think you might have a bad file. I'm not sure of the source for the file (and don't care... might lead to "issues") but if you can create a "better" file (redo the rip or whatever) you might just "solve" your issues. That's my take at least. ;)

Hi,

The source file is good, because the Joined Mpeg Files is good. The problem is after the Authiring (an only with Pulse DVD).
