Ok i started with a double layer memorex f16 burner and i got the unknown failed error, so then i tried my cd burner (not that it would matter) and i couldn't either. So then i went out a bought a tosheba samsung SH-S202J dl burner from micro center and it got the same error. Why is this not working when i look at the drives profile on dvd decrypter it says that they can both burn dl disc. I did not install drivers on either of them were could i get them or what could i dont to solve the problem, is there any other way i can change it to a dvd-rom? As you could imagine im pretty frustrated. Is cross flashing at all complicated and could you link me to a tutorial? Thanks a lot.

Use ImgBurn.
ImgBurn's burn engine is basically an updated version of DVD Decrypter's burn engine. It can handle today's newer burners.

99% of all problems are between the computer and the chair.
