Hi wonder if anyone can help,I have uploaded a channel dump from the box to my pc without any problems,However when i try to open it with starview channel editor i get this error
[access violation at address 0040 4B64 in module starviewchanneleditor.exe write of address 00808078]
I am running xp and have a printer driver installed

Any help out there much appreciated.

Dependent on your firmware version you use one of two SVCEs. Have you tried both versions?

Thanks for your quick reply.
Yes i have tried both of them,I have 4.54 firmware on the box,I have been looking at your posts and downloaded all software needed from the link in your sig.Even if i try to load the bin into channel editor without the box connected to the pc it's still the same.

SORTED Feel so stupid now i did'nt realise you could rename fav folders from the remote,That was the main reason i wanted to edit channel dump so i'm happy now THANKS.
