Not that i'm a gamer, but you must get certain error messages with this failed install attempt. Tell us what they are eh?. Although you have Vista, please tell us what model and most importantly... the specifications of your machine. "creed" is well sought after and there could be a chance that this new game exeeds the capacity of your rig, especially with regards to RAM. The more info toilkenn, the better. Oh and by the way.....welcome to AfterDawn. :)

Cheers.

PS: Did you buy the game, like you said, or download the game? .....it'll make a huge difference..believe me/us.

I recently got a laptop too. it can play lots of new games like bioshock and COD4, but it cant play assassins creed. go on this site and see if your computer meets the requirements before getting a game.

Hey to dead_beat, i had a reasonable suspicion with regards to assasins etc...... but i reckon it goes a little deeper. Does this game really take such an insane amount of "power" to run? No wonder my eldest son is having convulsions of anticipation, the poor bugger is worried that i will get the most game time....rofl :)
