I'm running Swap Magic 3.6 and it works fine and boots up the games I've just burned fine. When it does boot up though, the games (I've tried Guitar Hero and FF10) the screen is black and white, flickery, and the picture is moved several inches down the screen (black space on top, cut off on bottom).
I've burned both games (.iso files) using Nero 7 on various speeds, including the slowest available. The disks I've used are TDK DVD+R and Maxell DVD+R. The problem still persists though.
Has anyone had this problem, and if so, know how to fix it?
I'm relatively new to this and have heard a lot of back and forth over different brands and formats of DVDs that work best as well as dual layer, could either of these be the culprit, and again, if so, recommendations?
Ok, so I've solved the issue with the black and white flickery screen. I just switched the video mode in Swap Magic to the appropriate codex (NTSC or PAL) before booting up.
Now, however, the picture fills up the entire screen but continues below and roughly the bottom quarter gets cut off. Any ideas again? Running Guitar HeroNTSC version burned on TDK DVD+R on NTSC PS2 (SCPH-30001).
