Hi,

Is there a way to assign a 3rd party audio encoder
to work with TMPGenc.

Preferrably one that encodes AC3 format files.

Do you mean encode "TO" AC3??? well then the Answer is No, You can assign external Mpeg1 Layer 2 Encoders but not AC3...But if you use TMPGEnc DVD author then there is an AC3 Plugin you can get for it that will encode the audio to AC3 while Authoring the DVD, I think it is $28......
