ImgBurn is the best burner, however since your movie is a download you will need to ensure that the current format is compatible with your standalone player.

What file format is it in (avi, mpeg, vob, video_ts) so we know what to tell you to use.

If your manual says it plays divx/avi it MAY play it. If not, then you need to use a program like convertxtodvd to convert it to dvd compliant files.

Here is a link to a guide for using convertxtodvd, if you are unfamiliar with the program.

Thank you brother ferguj1. I'm on my mobile on my way to work, so I can't post links right now, unless I want to type out the entire link.

Is there a blank disk in the drive? From what it's showing there isn't. You should have had the option while creating the dvd files to save them to a folder.

@McGreg08

Check here for the programs we recommend to use for ripping and burning dvd's. I call it a 'one stop shop' for all your ripping/burning needs.

http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/673257

Also, if you want to ask a question, start a separate thread, otherwise it would seem you are trying to hijack another persons thread.

@Dangmnx

Looking at the pic, it's showing the drive being used as a cd/rw drive. Why it's doing that if it's a dvd/rw drive I have no idea.

What type of drives are you using? As rtm27 stated the pic that you posted is for a CD Writer not DVD, needless to say it won't burn to dvd media.

It's no problem....you're still new. I'll let you slide!! LOL

Most of us use imgburn, and for those that don't, they keep it on backup while having a paid program (mainly nero) as their main burning program.

Most of us on here keep multiple programs to do a task. As one aDa member spoke so eloquently, "Keeping more than one program is like keeping more than one tool in the toolbox. If one fails, you have others to use."
