Epson Hi-Definition R280 Photo Printer-HELP?

I just purchased the Epson Hi-Definition R280 Photo Printer to print labels on CD's. I have the software loaded on desktop HP with XP, destktop Dell with XP and Dell laptop with Vista Ultimate. It will not work on any of the three computers. It will print on paper but when I insert the CD tray to print it starts, sucks the CD tray partially in and then kicks it back out telling me to reinsert the CD tray and push the paper button on the printer. I called Epson and they told me the printer was faulty and they shipped me another new one. No luck. The new one they sent does the same thing. I checked for updated drivers and installed it and it still does the same thing. I have tried every "Trouble Shooting" option we can find and nothing works. Can anyone help?

Do you have the printer close to a wall or other object?

The CD tray needs plenty of clearance out the back because the tray will hang out quite a bit from the back of the printer.

When you set up a print job, the printer will grab the CD tray and slide it through the printer out the back and gradually bring it out the front of the printer as it prints on the cd/dvd. If there is something prohibitting the tray from sliding out the back as far as it needs, the printer will just bring the tray to the front and tell you to reload the tray.

280 is zero wall clearance. They sent you another bad printer went through 3 of the 260'sfor same problem.
