laptop to Sony XBR errors with DVI

hello all,

im having troubble connecting my Sony XBR 40" http://www.sonyxbr.com/ to my laptop with a dvi cable http://flushing-newyork.olx.com/ttl-e193...95-iid-1407518. It was working fine for a bit and then all of a sudden no picture. The tv just says "no signal." I have no idea what could have caused this to happen . My laptop is a Hp Pavilion dv2000 and in running Vista... Does anyone have any ideas to get over this....
