I got a 100 of these as they were advertised as unbranded but GENUINE taiyo yuden's for a good price. Then when they turn up, the delivery note says 100 datasafe DVD-R's. They return the media code of TYG02, but this can be faked. They are completely unbranded and come in a cake tub. Anyone have any experiences with this media?
I've read a few threads on them over on cdfreaks, basically they are using the TY dye, so that gives the retailer the "right" to call them GENUINE Taiyo Yuden's :(
They have a fairly good rep, obviously not as good as real TY's but at under £20 for 100, I'm in two minds whether to bother to return them or make use of them. I guess I'll be the guinea pig and if they are any good then I'll sumbit a report to the media page at videohelp.com

I tried out one of the "TYG02" datasafe's with an PS2iso which didn't play properly when I burned it on my advanced AZO vertabims. Burned @ 1x speed using DVD decrypter and it worked flawlessly! It's only one disc but if they carry on like this one then I'm onto a winner :)
