Folks not well up on pc jargon and pc's in general but here is my problem.The kids pc keep,s getting this pop up spyware preventer with a security scanner listing a whole list of virus and trogans etc.I have avast and ran this scan and came back with nothing I also ran the free norton scan you get with the google pack and it came back with 1 issue and sorted it out but I am still getting this spyware preventer pop up.I presume it's some kind of fraud as it is also asking for payment to clear up all these virus that are supposedly on p.c.Any help much appreciated in laymans terms as again not well up on this.

This will also be located at hijackthis(.txt) in the same folder that HijackThis was originally saved.

You didn't really follow my instructions, as I said to unzip the zip file and rename HijackThis. However, I know what kind of malware you have now, and that will make the removal process easier.
Now, please download Combofix.
With Combofix, at the download window, please rename it to Combo-fix(.exe) before downloading it.
Please disable all security programs, such as antiviruses, antispywares, and firewalls. Also disable your internet connection.
? Run Combo-Fix.exe and follow the prompts.
**Understand that things like your system clock changing and your desktop disappearing might happen. Do not worry, because all will be restored later. ? Wait for the scan to be completed.
? If it requires a reboot, please do it.
? After the scan has completed entirely, please post the log here. The log will be located at C:\ComboFix(.txt)
Do not click on the Comobofix window, as it may cause it to stall.

Sorry just in from work I have just logged onto p.c. and got an trojon warning from avast and it gave me the option to move to chest which I did and now the spyware preventer pop up seems to have gone again apologies as I am not to well up on all this.Is pc all right now.
It would be good if you still did my previous instructions and post a new HijackThis log, as some traces of the malware and its settings may still be there.

Please download the HijackThis zip file. Save it onto a convenient place in your computer, and then unzip the file. To unzip a file, right click on it, and then click Extract. You can either extract it to a folder on your desktop, or something like that.
