sum of the good ones are probably DVD 5s

and the bad ones DVD 9s

my suggestion read a few guides from this forum

http://www.afterdawn.com/guides/archive/dvd9_to_dvdr_with_dvd_shrink.cfm

this method will give u qood quality for all ;-)

or it usually does anyway

yeah well thats basically your problem... not all dvd's have a fixed size... i bet you dont even bother to go through the process of selecting files you cant to keep in such... DVD Shrink 3.0 gives the same ammount of compression to the main movie as it does the extras.. what you need to do is select files you do and dont want to eep... do you really want those trailers?music videos? sure they can be a good thing but i dont like to sacrifice quality for that crap.... so go around and get rid of the files you dot need by switching compressin to still pictures and getting rid of the audio... get rid of audio tracks you dont want such as a language you dont need or directors commentary.. all of that will lower the compression used on the main movie.. then when your done it doesn' hurt to perform deep analysis... it takes longer but i promise its worth it
