ok my computer is completely stuffed atm, ill start off from the start just incase it helps..

ok i was surfing mozilla 1 day and i must of come across sum damaging website because my computer froze for a second and when i checked, my desktop background had changed to some "FOUND VIRUS" or something along those lines..so i thought nothing of it and just changed the background back to what it was and kept browsing on the net, then while i was browsing, the site i was on changed 2 a different 1 with the same virus scanner b.s, and the background had also changed, this time the computer froze..first the background soon after the mouse froze..
only option was to restart computer manually

anyways so it loaded back up and everything was fine, then like 4 -5 mins in2 using the comp it freezes up totatally..now its a constant thing, i start it up it freezes after a while, and i cant click on anything, but sumtimes im able to open up AVG or something like that..

does any1 have any idea on what i can do or whats wrong with this thing!??(im currently on my ancient lap top atm cause my comps that finished)

Hi drilon1

Before we fix your HijackThis log, we will have to dent the malware first, because active malware might recreate the settings.

Also, test your system extensively for anything that might not be functioning properly.

Now, please download Combofix.
With Combofix, at the download window, please rename it to Combo-fix(.exe) before downloading it.

Please disable all security programs, such as antiviruses, antispywares, and firewalls.
Also disable your internet connection.

? Run Combo-Fix.exe and follow the prompts.
**Understand that things like your system clock changing and your desktop disappearing might happen. Do not worry, because all will be restored later.
? Wait for the scan to be completed.
? If it requires a reboot, please do it.
? After the scan has completed entirely, please post the log here. The log will be located at C:\ComboFix(.txt)

Do not click on the Comobofix window, as it may cause it to stall.

Next, follow the instructions below for an updated an renamed HijackThis log which might prove to be more accurate.

Please download the HijackThis zip file. Save it onto a convenient place in your computer, and then unzip the file.

Rename HijackThis(.exe) to scanner(.exe).

Next, run scanner(.exe). A window will pop up.

? Click on the button which says Main Menu, then Do a system scan and save a logfile.
? Please wait for the scan to be completed.
? After the scan has completed, a text window will pop up. Please post the contents of this window here.

This will also be located at hijackthis(.txt) in the same folder that HijackThis was originally saved.

NOTE:: Do not fix anything using HijackThis, as this may also damage legitimate components of your computer.

Best Regards :D

Life is but a dream; you dont feel any pain unless you want to or you fall off the bed.
Success is relative; the more success the more relatives.
A computer once beat me at chess, but it was no match for me at kickboxing.
To be or not to be; thats a dumb question.

Hey drilon1

Now we get to the fun part. I will give you four separate instructions in different posts. Read through them first, then follow them all in order, and post the requested logs back.

Life is but a dream; you dont feel any pain unless you want to or you fall off the bed.
Success is relative; the more success the more relatives.
A computer once beat me at chess, but it was no match for me at kickboxing.
To be or not to be; thats a dumb question.

1.

Please download Superantispyware Free and install it. Follow the prompts and reboot if required.

Launch Superantispyware Free either by running C:\Program Files\SUPERANTISPWYARE.exe or right-click on the SuperAntispyware icon in your task bar (it looks like a bug) and click on Scan for Spyware, Adware, Malware...

Configuring SuperAntispyware

? Click on Preferences.
? In the tab General and Startup, make sure the box Start SuperAntispyware when Windows starts is unchecked. This will prevent SuperAntispyware from starting everytime, because it may interfere with other fixes that may be run.
? Navigate to the tab Scanning Control.
? Make sure only these boxes are checked:

Close browsers before scanning
Scan for tracking cookies
Terminate memory threats before quarantining
Scan Alternate Data Streams
Use Kernel Direct File Access (recommended)
Use Kernel Direct Registry Access (recommended)
Use Direct Disk Access (recommended)

? Click on Close.

Updating SuperAntispyware

? At the main window, click on Check for Updates....
? Wait for SuperAntispyware to be fully updated.

Scanning Time

? Boot into {b}safe mode[/b] by repeatedly pressing the F8 key after you press the power button. If safe mode does not work, tell me and do the scan in normal mode.
? Launch SuperAntispyware.
? At the main window, click on Scan your Computer....
? Make sure all drives (excluding CD drives) are checked, select Perform Complete Scan, and then click on Next.
? Wait for the scan to complete, and then click on Next>. This will quarantine and remove all detected items.
? Reboot your computer.

Post A Log

? Launch SuperAntispyware
? Click on Preferences
? Navigate to the tab Statistics/Logs.
? Choose the latest scan log, and the click on View Log....
? Copy and paste the contents of the log here in your next post.

2.

Please disable all security programs, such as antiviruses, antispywares, and firewalls.
Also disable your internet connection.

Open Notepad and copy/paste the text in the code box below into it:

KILLALL::
File::
C:\WINDOWS\system32\idja.dll
C:\Program Files\Kbxrzpn\Vjwr.exe
C:\windows\system32\lmVqFeE.exe
C:\WINDOWS\system32\MftR.exe
C:\WINDOWS\system32\?dobe\?hkdsk.exe
C:\WINDOWS\system32\rvutio.dll

Folder::
C:\Program Files\Kbxrzpn
C:\WINDOWS\system32\?dobe

Save this as CFScript.txt in the same folder as Combofix.

Then drag the CFScript.txt into ComboFix.exe.

This will start ComboFix again. After reboot, (in case it asks to reboot), post the ComboFix log here. The log will be located at C:\ComboFix(.txt).

Do not click on the ComoboFix window, as it may cause it to stall.

NOTE:: Close all browsers before fixing anything.

After that, post a new HijackThis log here.

4.

Please RIGHT-CLICK HERE and Save As (in IE it's "Save Target As") to download Silent Runners.

? Save it to the desktop.
? Run Silent Runners by double-clicking the "Silent Runners" icon on your desktop.
? You will see a text file appear on the desktop - it's not done, let it run (it won't appear to be doing anything!)
? Once you receive the prompt "All Done!", double-click the new text file on the desktop, copy that entire log, and paste it here.

*NOTE* If you receive any warning message about scripts, please choose to allow the script to run.

Best Regards :D

Life is but a dream; you dont feel any pain unless you want to or you fall off the bed.
Success is relative; the more success the more relatives.
A computer once beat me at chess, but it was no match for me at kickboxing.
To be or not to be; thats a dumb question.

IGNORE THE POST ABOVE!!!! made a mistake with silentrunners lol, but i do have another problem

OK ive got an error with silent runners, ill type the eroor here..

"silent runners" cannot access file services critical to proper script operation.

If u are running windwos XP make sure that the "Cryptographic Services" service is started.

You can also try reinstalling the latest version of the MS Windows script host.

Press OK to direct your browser to the download site or CANCEL to quit

When i press ok it goes to a site which says the resource you are looking for has been removed/name change/temporarily unavailable..

any idea??

thanks :D

Hey drilon

Try this: before running Silent Runners.vbs, disable AVG, Comodo, and other such security programs.

Also, go to Start, Run, and type in services.msc, and scroll down till you see Cryptographic Services. On the left side, if the option to Start the service is there, click on it.

Looking good... malware's retreating

Best Regards :D

Hmmm.... odd.

Unless you can get it to run, I won't waste time with it. You look much much cleaner, and before I can proceed, tell me what problems you have left.

Also post a new HijackThis log.

Hey drilon1

Congrats! YOu are now officially clean. Enjoy!

Best Regards :D

Life is but a dream; you dont feel any pain unless you want to or you fall off the bed.
Success is relative; the more success the more relatives.
A computer once beat me at chess, but it was no match for me at kickboxing.
To be or not to be; thats a dumb question.
