I have an HTPC that is hooked up to my Hitachi 65" Widescreen TV. It is a rear projection and I have DVI to DVI connection. When I stream movies from another computer to the HTPC and play them in full screen it looks great. The problem I am having is just looking at the desktop on the TV screen, it is fuzzy. You can make out the words of the programs icons, but there are definitely not a crisp picture. I have tried changing the settings on the TV and on the ATI Video card. Nothing seems to help. Am I doing something wrong or is that the way it is going to look. When I go to websites the pic is not bad, but it still looks a little blurry. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Text being blurry was always the problem when connecting a standard CRT telly to a PC. This was usually done over an S-Video connection.
I can only imagine that this could be a trait of Rear Projection TV's also and there might not be anything you can do except change it for an LCD or Plasma.
Only thing I can think of to try is to google "True Type".
This is a video display setting that helps text look a lot better on flat panel TV's. I just can't remember where to find the option to change it in windows / ATI catalyst. ( i think its a windows setting)
