Help with Swap Magic 3.6 and a new slimline PS2

Hello

I just bought Swap Magic 3.6 Plus but I have a problem. I have a brand new console model SCPH-79003 PAL.

I installed the Magic Switch and apparently I did it correctly because disks spin with the lid open.

Anyway when I use the Swap Magic DVD or the CD (it's the same with both) ,Swap Magic loads and shows the splash screen but doesn't show the "Load Program" Screen. If I press X in the controller while the splash screen is showing the screen goes black and the splash screen appears again.

I have read people suggesting that it might happen with the DVD version and to try with the CD but in my case the CD doesn't work either.Both seem to load flawlessly but they stop at the splash screen.

Any suggestion before trying to get a replacement?. Is it confirmed that Swap Magic 3.6 works with the SCPH-79003?

Yes it should work with that version PS2.

Are you sure you have the disk pressed firmly down on the spindle.

If it does not show the "Load Program and Video Mode on" then perhaps something is wrong with both disks.

Most retailers will take them back and replace them for you if they are faulty discs.

I had this problem, but it was due to the fact that i had a usb drive connected. i dont know if you have that or not. but i got a slim and it wont read the cd version.
