Would a WD VelociRaptor work in a notebook???

I was recently reading a review of the Western Digital VelociRaptor (320GB, 10000RPM), and saw that the actual drive is the size of a notebook drive.

I wonder if this would work in a regular notebook say a 15.4", or would it just produce too much heat and damage the notebook.

If it works it would make a killer upgrade for my lappy in about half a year ( currently have 5400 RPM HD) :D

no. it has a higher power requirement, and removing it from the icepak voids the warranty.

go for the WD scorpio black. 7200rpm and 320gigs.
