MP3/CD player problems

I have a Irock Bling CD/MP3 player and am having problems getting it to play MP3 cds. It will play normal audio cds with no problem.
It will play ~ 10 to 30 seconds of a song and then just stop. It does this for every song on the CD. I have tried different cdr's, different burning software and different copy methods with no sucess.
The burnt cd will play fine on my computer. Any ideas?

What do the player's specs say about supported bitrates and VBR? What have you used to create the mp3s (if you created them yourself)?

bit rate 32kbp2-320kbps, I have been burning at 128kbps and 64kbps. I don't know what VBR is.

I have tried mp3s that I ripped from my own cds as well as other mp3s I have. I have tried multiple rippers as well as burners.
