I'm trying to rip a DVD to an XviD AVI and this the first time I've ever tried this. I'm following this guide, which requires me to have DVD Decrypter, Auto Gordian Knot, and AviSynth. I have DVD Decrypter 3.5.4.0, AutoGK 2.45, and AviSynth2. I have no trouble ripping the 3 VOB files I want from the DVD.

The trouble starts when I open the first VOB (0.99GB) in AutoGK and follow the steps in the tutorial. Once I start the job after a few moments a window appears prompting me to start VirtualDubMod. Regardless if I click cancel or continue, the window closes and I get an error message saying:

Quote:
Avisynth open failure:
LoadPlugin: "C:\PROGRA~2\AutoGK\DGMPGDec\DGDecode.dll" is not an Avisynth 1.0 plugin
(C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Desktop\DVD rip\agk_tmp\_.avs, line 1)
I also get a message in the AutoGK job log about how interlace.log can't be found. Apparently the avs file is trying to load an invalid plugin, but I don't know why the plugin won't work with my version of Avisynth. Has anyone else had a similar problem or knows what went wrong? I'm running Windows XP Professional x64 Edition. I can post my NVIDIA forceware version if neccessary. I also tried this on my 32-bit XP laptop and still got the same error.

I run AutoGK version 2.48 with Avisynth version 2.5.8.0 with no problems.
Try updating your Avisynth.
