HELP PLEASE ! I'm using the BTC 1008 DUAL drive burning DVD+R disks (Ricoh).When burning any session smaller than 980MB it writes 100%. When writing anything larger, it gets to 989MB (23% though if trying to write a 4GB session), and freezes. The hard drive light stays on and other windows applications work, but the writing of the DVD stops.
I am using Nero Express 6.0.0.16. I have tried the burner on various PC's some with 1GB, 2Gb, 3GB RAM, SCSI and IDE Drives, etc. All on Windows 2000 - and all I have so far is a replacement drive with the same problems, and a lot of coasters.

Hi,

I had the same problem. BTC 1008IM was freezing at 88% of 1130MB. Led keeps lit. Now its solved. I found some information that you have to enable DMA support for the drive. Now everything works fine.
