Ok heres my problem. I Googled and searched and did everything i can and keep getting the same answers, so hopefully someone had the same problem as me. Here it is.

I installed Ubuntu 7.10 on a separate hard drive from my windows XP. I decided Linux wasn't my cup of tea, sop i formatted the drive i installed it on, however i still had the Grub Bootloader which always halted my start up unless i had the Ubuntu Live CD in or a Windows CD.

So after that I decided I wanted to upgrade to Vista, so i installed Vista on the HD that used to have linux, and i formatted my XP drive (it wouldn't let me simply upgrade)

So now i have only one HD with an OS on it, and that is Vista.

I read that in order to remove grub, you needed to boot into repair mode and do a bootrec /fixmbr and bootrec /fixboot.

I did both of them, but i still get the Grub Error 22 during start up. Anyone else have that issue??? I even tried to download the super grub disc (i think thats what it called) but it didnt work for me either.
