hi. I use a mac. I have two .srt problems. I am trying to add japanese subtitles to two movies. (Japanese uses kanji, or chinese characters -- which my computer is equipped to read with no problems).

Case 1... The subtitles are about 2 seconds ahead of the dialogue. I want to adjust the time.

Case 2... The subtitles are split into two .srts, and the movie is 1 .avi, so I need to join the .srts into 1 file.

Two relatively simply problems. Here's the catch. I have tried both TitleLab and Jubler. Both SHOULD be able to solve my problems in seconds... but both can NOT read the japanese scripts! They both reduce the subtitles to complete gibberish.

Does anyone know any other mac compatible softwares that might be better equipped for dealing with foreign characters? SoftwareEditor is a .exe file, so my mac can't even try it.

What else can anyone recommend?? Please!
