Using DVD+R DL with Shrink or Nero

How to get DVD Shrink and/or Nero to recognize the Double Layer DVD I want to use. After encoding, Shrink still thinks it's a normal DVD and wants to compress it.
Is there another program for burning that allows the use of Double Layer DVDs, or is there something I am missing with Shrink?

Open dvd shrink, click on edit, go down to preferences. Click on the down arrow and change setting from 'dvd5' to 'dvd9'.

Imgburn For Burning. It,s Way better than Nero.

Try using DVDFab to rip the Movie as a DVD 9 ISO. Then use imgburn To Back it up to a DVD 9 Disc.
