Hello everyone. new to this site looks great so far. i am having troubles copying dvd's. i was using dvdfab to make backups of movies. it has worked fine for a long time. now when i try to burn a movie, it doesn't finish the burn process. i thought it was my burner so i purchased another one. it does the same thing. i tryed it on another computer with dvdfab and it worked fine. so i tryed one more dvd burner and the same thing. i did a fresh install on another harddrive (winxp pro) and the same thing happens. could there be a problem with my motherboard? i have also tryed to burn with clonedvd and anydvd, same results. any suggestions?
thanks

7thsinger, I tryed Imgburn and it burned the dvd to my hard drive but when I tryed to burn the image to disc it would get to writting lead in and then it would do nothing. i couldn't eject the disc, I had to manually eject it.Any other ideas?

Imgburn won't rip (which is what i think you mean there). Use DvdFab to rip to HDD, then Dvd Shrink to compress the file, then Imgburn to burn it to a dvd.
Here's a link that will walk you through the process to set up Dvd Shrink to call on Imgburn to burn.
7thsinger, thanks for your replying. I tryed all the steps using dvdfab, dvdshrink, and then imgburn but I still get the same results. It just says writing leadin... and the drive doesn't start writing. Any other suggestions? i couldn't find the imgburn log, the folder was empty.
