I tried Kirby Super Star Ultra (U) by XPA and Xenophobia using game manager 35a on firmware 35e with my Slot 2 M3 MiniSD + Passcard 3.

The game starts with a message on the top screen that says initializing save with pink spinning stars or circles in the background. The game never loads.

Where can I go to update my M3 Firmware or Game Manager?

Has anyone fixed this problem?

Thanks to everyone for enlightening me!

errr have u try M3DS homepage? if firmware dont work, it means u have to wait for M3 to release new version.

i've seen quite a lot of this kind of posts saying, new games, dont work on your existing M3/R4/etc.. and the answer often is : wait for new firmware.

on a side note, i use Acekard2 and Supercard DSone and never have this kind of problem. Kirby is working perfectly :-D

Sadly from what I see, it is questionable if some devices will keep getting updated and I usually download the firmware & game manager from 3rd party sites because I can't find it on the m3adapter.com site.

I'm going to keep trying until it works. I'm updating my game manager to version 36a right now.

Thanks to everyone for enlightening me!

I would suggest getting a slot 1 card since the passme/slot 2 devices seem to get updated less frequently.

Kirby is working on my 1.18 firmware original spring loaded R4.

--Original spring-loaded R4 with 2GB Class 2 Kingston
--M3 Real with 8GB Class 6 A-Data (kickgaming.com kicks butt)

The page (official but unofficial) for M3 updates is www.handheldsources.com If you look they only host M3 products

Updated to game manager 36a, still freezes at initializing save.

I'm going to keep trying, I'll keep editing this post.

Do I need to Arm7 patch it? Didn't work

Hopefully I get answers here:

I FIXED THE PROBLEM BY UPGRADING TO A SLOT-1 FLASH CART
