if you dont mind waiting 10days or so, i recommend www.dealextreme.com cheapest and free delivery worldwide.
AVOID , N5, R4, M3 (as you can see the number of problems from the threads on this forum)
DS , Supercard or Acekard2.

the adapters only seem to come as part of a pack i just need the adapter itself as i have everything else

when u said 'adapter' i am assuming u r referring to 'flash cards' which uses micro sd memory card.

yes, very simple. download from their website, unzip, copy and paste the firmware onto micro sd card, add some games, plug every into ds and play.
