Me and my brother is thinking of buying a Sony Bravia KLV-32S400A because currently there is a promo in which we get a home theater system and DAV-DZ270K for free if we pay in cash. Is this model any good? Does it beat the hell out of it's competitors in the 32" HD LCDs?

My father keeps on insisting that Sony Bravia KLV-32S400A is not a good buy and he wants us to buy Panasonic Vierra =(
