Hello,

I'm resizing a 1280x544 mkv movie into 1280x720, then converting it to AVCHD. My question is when i'm viewing the movie, will the image be vertically stretched or distorted?

Thank you

Hello, how are you doing?

simple answer: yes!

your problem: you are trying to resize a video that has the black bars cropped.

Absolutely not, just as long as you resize properly. If you use MeGUI with AviSynth make sure you add borders too.
