I have a Gateway T-1631 Notebook and have recently "downgraded" it to XP. It came stock with Vista by the way. I have contacted Gateway and they have told me they do not offer support for downgrading to XP.

The problem I have is I cannot find a driver for my audio. I have found drivers for everything else on my Notebook. The only problem I'm having is getting my audio to work.

I'm thinking I may have to buy a sound card here pretty soon. But if I can avoid that it'd be great. If you need any more info about the notebook, let me know. I'll be sure to provide it. My version of XP is sp2.

You can find a lot of the info about the T-1631 online as well.
