I have downloaded 3 different c64 emulators and have over 5000 roms to use. I have tried burning each of the 3 different emulators but it doesn't play. I have swap magic. I have already got a snes emulator but that was downloaded from torrent as an iso file so it was all done for me.
You would need to create a Folder called "GAMES" and put your roms in there.
Also if adding too many roms, create subdirectory for the roms.
Something like how SNES does. A-C, D-F etc.
You then need to create a GAMES.TXT file with paths to
each program.
I like using this method to create filelists, you would then just have to rename it to GAMES.TXT
Once all that is done, create an ISO with Nero.
Choose UDF/ISO when creating the DVD or CD.
Then burn the ISO.
I appreciate your reply but I am a complete novice when it comes to this sort of thing. I have no idea how to create subdirectorys or create games.txt files with paths.
Ok I made an ISO using the PS2 DC64 from zophar.net
But it seems that all the roms I have which I believe are the same ones you have do not all work.
I ended up just using the .t64 and .prg roms.
When I click x to start game, the commodore 64 v2 screen comes up and just will say "Ready, run. Ready"
If it works the game will start.
In the readme.txt included in the download, shows how the keypad is mapped, except I found that when I pressed "Left trigger" that was what returned me to the menu.
Anyway I made a guide for you on how to create the folders, subdirectorys and filelist. Download link
Scroll to the bottom first to get my sample that I made.
I have no idea how to use the other 2 emulators. I haven't really had time to check them out.
So good luck, and let me know how you make out.
thank you for trying but i can't get it to work. I tried your iso that you made the programme loads up but none of the games play. I tried doing it myself and I prob done something incorrectly but it didn't even load up. Thanks for trying anyway much appreciated.
