Hi everyone, I've made this thread to tell you that Resistance : Retribution will be released on the PSP.
The ones with a PS3 should recognize Resistance. The PS3 version is FPS but the PSP version is TPS. Thanks to Ray92. It will have online and might be a replacement to the almost-dead MoH:H1. If you own a PS3 and a PSP 2000 or the unreleased 3000 model, you can connect a DualShock 3 controller to the PSP and use PS3 controls. This was announced in the TGS thing.
The plot is set between Resistance : Fall of Man and Resistance 2. No one cares about the plot though ;) So, get ready because this game is going to be good :D
NOTE: The online will only have 8 players in 1 room, not very exciting but it's OK. This will probably be released next year (Duh :D)
HERE for some info.
EDIT :
Originally posted by Wikipedia: Also announced was Infected mode which, by connecting R:R to R2 using a USB cable, going into the R2 options screen, and selecting ?Infect your PSP!? provides an alternate story within the alternate history. Thanks, CopperKid for telling me what this meant.. So anyway, I will be getting Resistance 2 and download Retribution so this would be great for me and lots of other PSP + PS3 owners.. Can't wait :P
EDIT2:
The following link will direct you to a UK game store showing some images of the game. The release date hasn't been announced yet. The page will also give you some info on the game.
[Looks awesome :D]

A little off-topic update ;) I've absorbed a lot of information in another forum site about the TGS.
Here's a good one :
Quote:Sony will launch later this year a service that allows gamers to play some titles over the Internet that were previously restricted to local area networks, the video game giant announced Thursday.
Now with more online multiplayer
The "Adhoc Party for PSP" service will work through the PlayStation 3, so gamers without the console won't be able to make use of it. By downloading an application through the PlayStation Store, the service will be enabled and games with an ad hoc gaming mode -- that's one that allows gaming over ad hoc Wi-Fi connections -- can be played with friends over the Internet.
The service won't support all titles with an ad hoc mode. Initially "Monster Hunter Portable 2nd Generation," which is hugely popular in Japan, will work with the service and other games are promised in the future including "Phantasy Star Portable."
Gamers using the service will first enter a lobby where they can see other players online and chat with them. During game play, voice chat will be possible through Sony's PSP wireless headset or PlayStation Eye camera.
The beta version of the software will be offered free of charge in Japan from Oct. 30. Launch plans for other markets were not announced.
