Hi, I'm new to nero8 and having trouble. I just installed nero8 ultra edition and download the update from nero. I have a 25gig application of pictures that I wish to save to DVDs.

It sees this large file and tells me, my disk is not large enough and does not let me use multi disks.

Please help. Thanks in advance

What is an "application of pictures"? An app usually refers to a program and since Adobe Photoshop is the largest I know of, I'm wondering if you aren't confusing your terms. Also 25 gigs of pictures would be about a "bazillion". Please clarify.

I'm an amateur photographer and my folder MY PICTURES has 67GB of files (all pictures). According to iTunes I have almost 26,000 pictures (all different sizes). So 25GB of pictures does not come out to be a bazillion.

Sorry I can't help you with Nero 8 as I have version 7.10.1.0. In my version you can do a slide show and just add the files to it or you can make a data DVD and add your files that you want on the DVD. Just make one DVD at a time until you copied all your files you wanted on the DVDs. IMHO

What I did to make my archive is buy a large external drive (I have a Tera bite external) and I not only backuped my computer on it but I also copied MY DOCUMENTS as a separate folder and that has all MY MUSIC & aslo all MY PICTURES in it.

All I asked was for a clarification of "application of pictures".
Yes, storage of that volume should be backed up to an external harddrive but DVD discs wiil work also. Divide the 25 gigs of pics into seven almost equal folders of 4 gigs or less and then let Nero do it's work.

Sorry for the confusion. "Picture project" may have been more inline.

I understand. Thanks.

Follow IHoe's advice. He's the photo czar.
