missing files in application on xbox softmod

Hi,

I softmodded an xbox with a new drive and its fine but when i go into the menu it does not have where to copy dvd to xbox and other sections are missing the files applications is missing,emty, emulators is showing empty, so i cant save games or even go into media center.

Can someone guide me to correcting this problem please?
