EDIT: forgot to mention i have to swap the cables because all the other ports are connected to other computers.

Ok so i recently got xbox live again. I got a Siemens SE567 router. The four ports are always being used and i have to disconnect my port for my computer and connect in my xbox live cord to go on live but the problem is everytime i do that the ip settings and everything always seem to change even my internet address. Y is this? and is there a way i can lock my settings on the router cause they dont ever seem to lock. i was also thinking that it could be cause im using the same port and plugging the cables back and forth each time but i cant figure it all out. thx in advance for ne help.i forgot ill tell u what i change settings for each time

USING MY COMPUTER
my listen port is blocked all the time on bitcomet and i try and change my internet ip address but it wont let me sometimes it works sometimes it dont. Then when i get it to work and bitcomets running smooth. i disconnect my computer then plug in my xbox live cable to play that. then next time i wanna use my computer i plug it in and the whole internet settings have changed and says my listen port is blocked again......

USING MY LIVE
when i try and play xbox live i can edit the settings for NAPT and stuff most the time then play with my friends but then after i connect my computer into the slot then reconnect my cord for live i have to do it over and over and sometimes it dont work either.

Didn't fully understand what you were saying but I'm guessing that when you take your pc's ethernet cable out of the router (so you can plug your x box into it) and then plug the pc back into the router, your ip address changes and your port forwarding setup in your router for bitcomet doesn't work any longer...?

You can do it two ways, either set the DHCP lease time as infinite in your routers DHCP section (some routers don't allow this), then check what IP your pc is getting and it should always get that same IP, go into the section of your router where you setup port forwarding for bitcomet and change the IP adress to the IP your pc is now getting.

OR, just give your pc a static ip address in the TCP/IP settings of the network connection that you wish to make static, now it's not going to change anymore, bobs your fathers brother.

well i copied my whole status thing for my router and i dont see any infinite lease time at all dude but this is my settings erased my ips.

and yah ur right thats what i was talking about. and for xbox live my nat settings after i fix it and reconnect it says my nat is not open then i have to do that again. Also i already made a static IP thats what fixed my live so i can actually join my friends in games.
