Go grab yourself a can of compressed air from a hobby shop or other outlet. Armed with the can of air and a vaccuum cleaner, use short bursts of air to remove dust..and the vaccuum stops the rubbish from going elsewhere. You'll probably need to clean the lenses, so grab a lens cleaner disc also. Run it and you'll be as clean as a whistle. Easy peesy.

Somebody gave me one of those lens cleaner discs but I am hesitant to try it out. What exactly does that thing do?

@peshtigo. These are a short life dry type cleaner. On the underside of the disc you'll notice there are at least two pieces of soft brush material. They simply come into direct contact with the lens and so remove some...but not all debris.
Hesitant to use it? So you should be. The real el cheapo varietys could harm the lens surface. Choose a brand like Phillips, sony etc.

Thanks onya. That's pretty much what I guessed. I'll pass on the lens cleaner. I haven't needed one yet and I doubt that I ever will. Just curious.
