hi, iv got a Packard Bell imedia 1602 and have to purchased to 1gb sticks of ram,upon installing them the pc boots to the packard bell screen, then trys to run windows xp and comes up with the message ati2mtag.sys error
Page_Fault_in_NonPaged_Area
Can anybody help me? Thanks

Thanks for the reply, i got DDR-400 pc3200 ram 2x1gb and still no joy with it? Thanks

Just so that you can discount the new sticks from absolute fault, use one stick only and try..remove and then use the other. As a "control", put back an original ram stick and retry.

hi, iv tried each 1gb stick seperate and neither of them work, it only works with the origional 256mb stick, Thanks

I see no listing for a Packard Bell imedia 1602. Where did you buy the RAM sticks?

Good one gaz..now we know. Look for the markings on the original stick. Post all info you see.

@peshtigo. There's a world of difference in what he has too what he needs by the info you posted. Even if it is the model gaz states, there's the buffered and un-buffered. Good digging around there pesh. :)

hi, thanks for the replys and help, yes it is definatly a 1602 and it never came up on crucial with it but the crucial scanner scan my system and said it was defo pc3200 ddr 400.
The origional ram has 256mb DDR, 400, CL3 on it
