Bootable disk in the DVD player

Hello
My brother accidentally put a bootable disk in the Lg DR7800 (I used to use this disk with my old xbox to flash the bios)
First the display showed software upgrade and now the dvd tray doesn't open and on the display it says "please wait".
I contacted LG UK ,and they told me an engineer needs to c it, but the problem is I live in Egypt, and LG Egypt refuses to accept it because I bought from the UK!
So is there any method to restore the dvd back to its original software?
any help would be appreciated
