I am trying to connect to a printer in another room. So i've been able to get a network for the computer that is directly connected to the printer and this computer. I can see everything, i can put files in the shared folder and retrieve them with this computer (and vice versa), i can see the printer, but it won't allow me to connect to the printer. It says that i don't have the authority to do it, i made sure to connect with the administrator account and still, nth. I also made sure to check if the printer's share option was on and it is. The remote desktop option is on for both computers. Both computers can see each other.


sry if i repeated myself a bit when i was explaining. But does any1 know how i can fix this?

did you install the printer on your pc as network printer?
