Hi folks,

I have a SONY Handycam DCR-SR40 and have the software that goes along with it. Once I convert the audio format I am using Nero 7 and burning MPG files to +R DVDs. I have also tried -R DVDs.

Either way, I'm am having issues with the video being jumpy and the audio track slipping. Then at the end of each track the video speeds up real fast to get to the end. Is there anyone that would know of a quick fix for this? Is this a software issue or a windows issue? I am completly lost at this point.

It was suggested I Recode, by launching the Nero StartSmart and right-click on the 'Flame' icon in the bottom left of the window.

I tried that and got "Due to the patent license restrictions, Dolby Digital 2 Channel decoding is not available. This feature can be added by installing the DVD-Video Plug-in, the Nero Ultra 6 Edition retail package, or the web vertion."

I click on the link and get "The selected page no longer exists or you have reached us via an incorrect link."

PLEASE help... My kid is growing up fast and my wife and I are expecting another one in less then two months, I don't want crappy vidoes to remember these days by.

Thanks-

You have an OEM version that will not work with AC3 audio unless you purchase the plugin.
What format is the file that you're trying to use with Nero?

Is the DVD Flick v1.3.0.4 version better then its earlier versions because I am seeing some discussions about it from some unhappy people. But I don't know what version they are using.

If you read the guide and set things up properly, you should have no problems.
