ok, while my tv got wet. it was plugged in and turned on by a friend, while it was most likely to still be wet inside. i unplugged it as soon as i saw what he was doing. and it didnt appear to be working at the time it was turned on. will it still work after some drying.

it is possible, but no way to know until it has dried, and you plug it up and try it.

You could try this: With the TV unplugged, and safety in mind, take the cover off, and use a hair dryer and try to dry it out. Only do this if you feel comfortable about taking your TV apart. Make sure you don't touch anything inside with your hands. TV's sometime hold a charge even when unplugged from the wall.
