Hello,

This is the third time to happen, it seems to happen every one year.

My ps2 stopped recognizing magic plus DVD. It reads the Magic Plus CD but not the DVD. I thought the DVD might be scratched. So I bought a brand new PS2 SCPH 79001 silver. The new PS2 plays the Magic plus DVD fine. I thought the Laser might be weak. I replaced the laser with a new one, still it doesn't read the Magic plus DVD.

Any clue why this is happening? and is there a part in the PS2 that needs to be replaced?
