How can I play movies from USB (w/SM3.8) (have been looking for hours)

I desperately need help. How can i play movies from a usb drive with swap magic. I got the elf file of sms player but it doesnt detect my usb drive when it launches. It only reads the DVD (where swap magic is inserted.)
I read somewhere that you need a file called USBD.IRX for SMS player to detect the usb drive, but i cant seem to find this file anywhere. Well i found this file on filefront.com but I have no idea where to put it. I tried putting it in the SWAPMAGIC folder on the usb drive but that isnt working. PLEASE if anyone knows how to do this please help me out.

okay i managed to get the USBD.IRX file into the memory card in MC:\SMS\ or whatever it is, but it still doesnt detect the usb device.

At the SMS player go to menu by pressing start.
Then device settings and then press x at "start usb support."
Exit the sms menu and you will now be able to see a usb icon at the top of screen next to the cd icon. To select it, push up and left until the cursor moves to the usb and press x.

Alternatively you can enable the "Auto start usb" at the device settings and save the settings to memory card so you dont have to do enable usb every you use sms.
